The Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) is a 24-minute train ride to the Central district of Hong Kong.
1. Follow signs to the Airport Express train. Buy a round-trip ticket for the train for HK$205 (USD26.2), or buy single-trip tickets for HK$110 (USD14.1) each.
2. Take the Airport Express train and get off at Hong Kong Station. The journey will take about 24 minutes.
3. At Hong Kong Station, transfer to the MTR Island Line (blue line) towards Kennedy Town.
4. Take the Island Line to HKU Station. The journey will take about 6 minutes.
5. Exit the station and follow the signs to your accommodation.
By Airport Bus:
1. After you have cleared immigration and customs, look for the Airport Bus Terminal signs. The airport bus terminal is located at Terminal 1, Level 5.
2. Purchase a ticket for bus route A10 from the ticket counter or vending machine. The ticket costs HKD 50.3 (or US$6.45 for adults). Please visit here for details of airport buses.
3. Board the A10 bus at the designated bus bay. The journey takes approximately 55 minutes and the bus runs every 20-30 minutes.
4. Alight at the "University Street" bus stop. The “University Street” is the bus stop closest to HKU MTR station. Then you can walk to your desired accommodation close to HKU MTR station.
By Taxi:
International visitors who wish to get to the Academic Building by taxi from the Hong Kong International Airport may drop off at:

Chinese Address: 薄扶林沙宣道3號香港大學李嘉誠醫學院教學樓

Shuttle bus will be available free of charge for the Symposium attendees throughout the Symposium, running from 11 April to 13 April 2024. Attendees will have the flexibility to choose from these shuttle buses, public bus service, or taxi options to travel conveniently to and fro the Symposium venue at the Academic Building of the University of Hong Kong (3 Sassoon Road).
